Das Ausbesserungswerk
In Duisburg steht ein Ausbesserungswerk der Bahn. Bis 1973 hat die Bahn routinemäßig Dampflocks im Ruhrgebiet eingesetzt. Dieses Ausbesserungswerk ist mal dafür gebaut worden. Danach ist es noch bis etwa 2003 weiter betrieben worden. Seither steht es leer. Ich war 2012 noch mal da, ..... , alles zu und verrammelt.

Since my exhibition staetrd people have told me they love the sense of movement in this photo. This is great, but the the train was actually still in this scene, in fact the doors were opening just
before hopping on. Instead of using a long exposure to show movement I faked it' using my Lensbaby.
